These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the DesiBet platform. By creating an account, placing bets, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
You must be 18 years or older to use DesiBet.
You must be a resident of Ogun State, Nigeria (or other regions where DesiBet lawfully operates).
By registering, you confirm that all personal information provided during Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is accurate and truthful.
DesiBet reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.
DesiBet is licensed by the Ogun State Inland Revenue Service (OGIRS) to operate as a betting platform.
All betting activities are subject to Nigerian laws and OGIRS regulatory requirements.
To place bets, you must complete account registration and manual KYC verification, including submission of valid government-issued ID.
Only one account per user is allowed. Multiple accounts may be suspended or terminated.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Any activity on your account will be deemed authorized by you.
Deposits and withdrawals can only be made through payment channels supported by DesiBet.
Minimum and maximum transaction limits may apply.
Withdrawals are subject to KYC approval and anti-money laundering checks.
DesiBet is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.
DesiBet exclusively covers grassroots/local football competitions, cups, and tournaments in Ogun State (with possible future expansion).
Bets must be placed before the start of a match. Late bets will not be accepted.
All bets are final and cannot be cancelled or changed once confirmed.
Winning bets will be settled based on official match results as recognized by the organizing body.
If a match is cancelled, postponed, or abandoned, bets may be voided or settled according to DesiBet’s rules.
Betting is a form of entertainment, not a guaranteed source of income.
You agree to bet responsibly and within your financial means.
DesiBet may suspend or restrict accounts where harmful gambling behavior is detected.
Users may request self-exclusion if they wish to take a break from betting.
Fraudulent activities (e.g., false identities, match-fixing, multiple accounts, money laundering) are strictly prohibited.
DesiBet reserves the right to suspend or permanently close accounts involved in suspicious activity.
Winnings obtained through fraudulent activity will be forfeited.
By using DesiBet, you consent to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Personal data is used only for account management, betting services, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention.
DesiBet provides its services “as is” and does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We are not liable for:
Technical issues, internet failures, or service downtime.
Delays caused by third-party providers (e.g., banks, telecoms).
Losses incurred from betting decisions.
Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount of your stake on the disputed bet.

We will investigate and respond promptly.
If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to the Ogun State Inland Revenue Service (OGIRS) as the licensing regulator.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
Breach these Terms.
Provide false or misleading KYC information.
Engage in fraud, illegal activity, or underage betting.
Abuse promotions or system loopholes.
You may also request account closure at any time.
DesiBet may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes.
Updates will be published on our website and take effect immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ogun State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
