These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the DesiBet platform. By creating an account, placing bets, or accessing our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
Users must be at least 18 years old.
Users must reside in Ogun State, Nigeria, or other regions where DesiBet is lawfully approved to operate.
All KYC information provided must be accurate, complete, and truthful.
DesiBet reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.
DesiBet is licensed by the Ogun State Inland Revenue Service (OGIRS) and operates in accordance with Nigerian betting laws and applicable regulations.
Users must complete registration and submit valid government-issued identification for KYC verification.
Only one account per individual is permitted. Duplicate or related accounts may be suspended or permanently closed.
Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials. Any activity carried out under an account is deemed authorized by the account holder.
Deposits must be between ₦200 and ₦20,000 per transaction.
Withdrawals must be between ₦500 and ₦30,000 per transaction.
Withdrawals are subject to KYC verification, AML checks, and internal review.
DesiBet is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or third-party service providers.
DesiBet covers grassroots and local football competitions in Ogun State, with possible future expansion.
Bets must be placed before the official start of a match. Late bets are invalid.
All bets are final once confirmed; however, DesiBet reserves the right to correct, adjust, or void bets affected by palpable errors, technical glitches, settlement mistakes, or rule violations, as outlined in Clauses 7 and 8.
Bet settlements are based strictly on official match results.
Matches that are postponed, abandoned, or cancelled may be settled or voided in accordance with DesiBet rules and policies.
Users agree to gamble responsibly and within their financial means.
DesiBet may limit, suspend, or restrict accounts exhibiting harmful or compulsive gambling behavior.
Self-exclusion options are available upon request.
Fraudulent or abusive use of the DesiBet platform is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:
Submission of false or forged information
Match-fixing or collusive betting
Money laundering or suspicious financial activity
Use of bots, scripts, VPN masking, or unauthorized software
Multiple accounts controlled by the same individual
Deliberate exploitation of obvious pricing errors, system glitches, or malfunctioning odds (“advantage play”)
DesiBet reserves the right to:
Void or correct affected bets
Reverse, adjust, or reclaim payouts made in error
Forfeit winnings linked to fraudulent or abusive activity
Suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in such conduct
All decisions under this clause are final.
A palpable error refers to any clear or obvious mistake in odds, pricing, settlement, or displayed information (e.g., an intended odd of 3.20 mistakenly displayed as 320).
In such cases, DesiBet may:
Correct the odds to their intended value
Settle the bet using the corrected odds or void the bet entirely
Adjust, reverse, or reclaim any payout made based on erroneous data
Users are not permitted to exploit such errors. DesiBet’s determination and corrective actions are final and binding.
To ensure responsible gambling, operational sustainability, and risk management, DesiBet applies the following limits:
The maximum payout (winning) per bet or bet slip shall not exceed ₦50,000, regardless of odds, market type, or stake amount.
Any calculated winnings above this limit shall be automatically capped at ₦50,000 at settlement.
The maximum stake for a single (straight) bet is ₦5,000.
The maximum total stake for a multiple/accumulator bet is ₦10,000.
Bets placed above these limits may be rejected, adjusted, or voided at DesiBet’s discretion.
DesiBet reserves the right to review, modify, increase, or reduce stake and winning limits at any time as the company grows, operations expand, or regulatory requirements change. Such changes take effect immediately upon publication on the platform.
By using DesiBet, users consent to the collection and use of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including for verification, compliance, fraud prevention, and security purposes.
DesiBet provides its services on an “as is” basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We are not liable for technical failures, internet disruptions, or service downtime.
We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party payment processors.
We are not liable for losses arising from betting decisions or misunderstanding of odds.
Our maximum liability for any claim is strictly limited to the amount of the user’s stake on the disputed bet.
Complaints must first be submitted to support@desibet.ng.
DesiBet will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Unresolved disputes may be escalated to the Ogun State Inland Revenue Service (OGIRS).
DesiBet may suspend or terminate accounts where users:
Breach these Terms
Submit false KYC information
Engage in fraud, illegal activity, underage betting, or advantage play
Exploit system loopholes, pricing errors, or technical faults
Abuse bonuses or promotions
Users may also request voluntary account closure at any time.
DesiBet may update these Terms to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Updates take effect immediately upon publication on the DesiBet platform.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ogun State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
